Chris Gonzalez

THEIR LOSS...SUNWEST GAIN. Bad news USPV folds due to the last minute withdrawal of a gigantic women sport sponsor. But the great news is Chris Gonzalez who was originally anticipated to join Sunwest in April will now be on board in December. "To the extent there is no conflict with my U.S. national team commitments, San Diego and Sunwest is my home."

Coach Ozhan says-- "We could not be more fortunate because Chris is enthusiastic about training the entire club's setters and shaping the direction of the Sunwest program. To have an international caliber trainer assume these responsibilities is a remarkable opportunity."

Chris's prior experiences include serving as an assistant coach for the Long Beach State Women's Volleyball team for the past five years, training the Cal Juniors Volleyball Club 16 and 18 Elite programs, and as an assistant with the USA Women's National Team Programs.
